Lil Mama Remixes Rhianna And Avril Laveeeeen

Make that four weeks at the top of the charts for Rhianna's inescapable summer jam "Umbrella." We don't listen to the radio, you won't find us in the club, and we only watch MTV to see if Lily's got a new video ... so we're still suckers for that extra-syllabic hook. And as far as pop jams go, Avril's "Girlfriend" is a smash with certain folks ... which begs the qustion: How did Brooklyn teen Lil Mama get tapped for two of the summer's hottest remixes? Gotta be the "Lipgloss." Check her take on "Umbrella," ella ella ay ay ay here.

And here she drops some verses on "Girlfriend"...

BONUS: From the set of the "Girlfriend" (the remix!) video shoot, the most annoying Avril Lavigne interview, ever. And that's an accomplishment.

Sounds like a high-octane call to lesbianism.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

1. It's even better if you change every time she says "Li'l Mama" to "Jesus Christ."

2. My girlfriend has just informed me, in no uncertain terms, that Avril does not actually want to be my girlfriend.

i find it hard to believe that avril lavigne is a master tagger.

also, these remixes aren't so great.it sounds the same except for a mediocre beat added to it. if someone like avril makes a new video for the remix i would probably expect it to be good enough it could have been a single itself, but it wasn't.
plus the rihanna remix sucked too. go away lil' mama!

i think lil mama is on her grind, and yes, the song lipgloss is a little juvenille, but thats what the kids want to hear. i would say that lil mama is a great role model because she's not afrais to be different but also still cute and flyyyy....keep doing whatcha doing ma!!!???!!!
