Lily Allen - "Who'd Have Known"

thumbnail icon: Lily Allen - "Who'd Have Known"

You might remember when, last September at London's GQ Man Of The Year Honors show, Lily was tipsy and got into a barb-throwing spat with Elton John at the podium: The Brit queen chastised Allen for being drunk, Lily responded in essence fuck you very much, I'm 40 years younger than you, to which Elton retorted, "I could still snort you under the table." Zing? Well Lily's always up for some meta-cheekiness, and this is no exception. In this clip she kidnaps (an actor playing the part of) the piano man and takes him back to her place, ties him up and makes him tell the world that in fact he's deeply in love with her under only a slight state of creepy duress. Elton's been down this road before with a witty young thing, so consider the stage set for an awkward Grammys collaboration. And let's just say that, after this video, the previous bit of trivia about this track -- that it samples Take That's "Shine" -- is now only the second most interesting thing about it.

It's Not Me, It's You is out.

There has never been anything the least bit interesting about her or any of her crappy music. Maybe if I were 12 I might find her listenable. She is an attention seeking talentless twit. As for Sir (ha ha) Elton, when was his last decent song or record? 30-35 years ago? You talk about someone living off their past! He's just a (rich)sad old queen who always seems to have to get his name in the news for all the wrong reasons.(except for AIDS charities work)

I'm judging her by her cd's and the show she put on at The Bowery Ballroom which may have been the lamest thing I have ever seen. The songs, her voice and stage presence were a joke. Her reputation an attention seeking drunk idiot doesn't exactly help.

So she's not you cup of tea, we get it. Your banter just makes you sound like a silly pretentious cunt.

Lily Allen"s concert @ the Bowery Ballroom sold out with great reviews. The fear remained a #1 hit in the U.K. for 5 + weeks. Lily Allen has been given a restraining order, against 2 British news agencies, to keep the paparazzi away from her home & out of her personal life. Most recently she has won her second lawsuit against a British tabloid for slandering her name. The last time that Lily Allen appeared in public intoxicated to the point of embarrassment was with Elton John, September 8 2008. Most of her time is spent sober, & working very hard to promote (ONLY) her music. Note: she never had a drinking problem these were exaggerations of the press brought on by the idea that sometimes likes to have fun & have a few drinks. 2009 has been a very different & better year for Lily Allen

Lily Allen'"s concerts on that particular tour beginning in L.A. & ending in Chicago did very well, except for her bout with asthma in Salt Lake City, where the show was a success but she was unable to attend the meet & greet afterwards

Now i toally lost ALL respect for her.. She made a shit of herself under at London's GQ, and now she's gone even deeper. Sad to see what a fucking looser she really is.

Rock on ELTON!
