We were taking a look at Liv Tyler's dino-rock heavy iTunes Celebrity Playlist ('cause we were always curious how Royston Langdon bagged her) and among Bowie, Kinks, and Marilyn Monroe (?) here are Aerodaughter's requisite 'Hog picks: "In The Meantime" and "Starside."

I love Spacehog, "Chinese Album" is a good record if you ask me, but "The Hogyssey" or whatever it was called, was the defintion of mediocre, although "i want to live" is a great track.

spacehog's first single 'in the meantime' was such an irresistible glam-rock revisitation (re: rip-off) that i had to buy the album. talk about crap. how can that one song be so misrepresentative of the album? the rest of the album was total garbage. to this day, my friends and i refer to getting an album on the strength of one single - and finding out said album is rubbish - getting "spacehogged". (clever, i know).
royston you suck. but congrats on the hot movie star wife. i'm glad i contributed to that in my own little consumer way.

Honestly, I am sure no one hear listens to XTC but that cover should really be taken down, or at least played alongside an XTC song so no one gets the wrong idea about one of the greatest pop bands of all time. Partridge/Moulding represent yo.
