Marilyn And Alice, Together At Last

Sunday night at the B'Estival in Bucharest, Romania, Marilyn Manson regaled his fans in an unabashedly awkward duet on "Sweet Dreams" with makeup-man icon Alice Cooper, looking either like he lost a bet, or like he was lost and in need of Manson's reassurance (what's with the one-hand-in-your-pocket, Alanis?). What's cute about this clip, though, is that it offers a sneak peek of an inevitable show in 20 years when Marilyn joins Gerard Way on a triumphant rendition of the similarly appropriately titled "Famous Last Words." Then they'll uncomfortably shake hands and hug! And we'll probably still be cracking Marilyn Manson jokes. Sad for everybody involved, really.

Yeah. Awkward. I wonder if Cooper is still a Christian. That probably would've added to the awkwardness. It just looked like he didn't want to be there, but he was trying to be polite and nice about it.

Alice Cooper looks kind of last minute there, makeup-less and in an old man button-up. I'd probably be sticking my hand in my pocket too, like what the hell am I doing here.

I think it is great that AC come on stage with MM. As in the student invite the master. And yes AC was not prepared I think. But he did it... Respect for AC. He rules....
