McCain Girls Do Eurythmics, Are Less Funny The Second Time

The McCain girls had their 15 MBs of fame with "Raining McCain." We can all agree that was enough out of them. Well, all of us but for the McCain Girls. Here the trio make us not laugh much to the tune of the Eurythmics' "Here Comes The Rain Again."

That was great, ladies. We're starting to get the premise, we think. So here's to you, and to more compelling parodies like "Vote McCain" (to the tune of Blind Melon's "No Rain"), "Purple McCain," "A Hard McCain's Gonna Fall," and of course "McCaindrops Keep Falling On My Head." Eat your heart out, Detroit Octane.

I only wish they'd do the Creedence classic "Who'll stop the McCain?"

Quit Your Day Job: Megafaun

Raleigh-via-Eau Clair BTW Megafaun debuted impressively earlier this year with Bury The Square. The trio nip-and-tuck experimental tendencies (tape splicing, white noise colliding with banjo, junkyard-laced spring reverb, screeching feedback at the tail end of a quiet back porch lament)...

Premature Evaluation: of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping
