Neko Case Brings "People Got A Lotta Nerve" To Leno

thumbnail icon: Neko Case Brings "People Got A Lotta Nerve" To Leno

Judging from your comments, folks are indeed enjoying Neko Case's brand new Middle Cyclone. Last night she brought the collection's flagship track "People Got A Lotta Nerve" to Leno. We've heard the album and Rock Band versions, and while this take doesn't add too much to what we already know, Case does sound great. You can watch it at Hulu.

Middle Cyclone is out via Anti-.

Swell performance, it's a shame she was so stiff on stage. Apparently she did have leg surgery recently and with pipes like those you don't want to run the risk of handling them the wrong way. With great vocals comes great responsibility.

Also Russell Brand and Gordon Ramsay seemed a little too eager to congratulate Case on her performance. Methinks the duo wanted to take turns getting close to the Virginian.

Neko could look like one of the infected in John Carpenter's The Thing, but as long as she had that voice, I'd totally do her.

She's awesome, but they gave her a lil' too much reverb. She don't need it.
