New A.C. Newman Live Video - "The Changeling (Get Guilty)" (DUMBO Session)

DUMBO is a pretty (and now pretty expensive) area of Brooklyn shadowed by bridges. It's where the DUMBO Sessions are recorded. You might recall Department Of Eagles' "1997." In a few months, you might also recall Carl Newman's take on "The Changeling (Get Guilty)." The track's from the new solo album, conveniently out today (1/20). We've heard "There Are Maybe Ten Or Twelve" and "Submarines Of Stockholm." This one shares a portion of Get Guilty's title. It's a spirited full-band rendition captured with split screen, b&w and color action and at least a portion of a skyline in the background to help you zero in on their location. As you should also be able to note via the above thumbnail: Newman showed up wearing his unshaven game face.

As mentioned, Get Guilty is out today via Matador. If you're in the NYC area: Newman has an in-store tonight at Virgin Union Square at 7PM. If not, there are other chances to catch him live with Denty Mary or DVD soundtrackers the Broken West.
