New Air Video - "Mer Du Japon"

There's a connective thread running from Fujiya & Miyagi's eponymous-chanting electro and Pocket Symphony standout "Mer Du Japon," at least in their swaths of sound. Hey maybe even in the tightly cropped face shots that hover over both clips' proceedings. But here, Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin literally hover, as the sexy specters of translucent pop genius we know them to be (hence, "Stereogum"). Director Guillaume de la Perrier sets the primary players, a dancing duo choreographed by Angelin Preljoca (whom Air scored some time ago), to an indigo puff, a magic dragon, and surely, school boys panting.

Very cool, love the animations and their shadowed selves in the background. I wish the song went on a little longer, though... it was groovin'.
