New Amy Winehouse Video - "Love Is A Losing Game"

Yes, it's a new Amy Winehouse video. No, that doesn't mean for a second that Amy pulled her shit together long enough to actually cooperate for a video shoot. So it's bits of her walking up hallways, clips of her loving Blake, footage from shows (presumably before folks walk out), and extreme closeups of her face (the director tenderly ensuring there is no visible coke residue). You almost get the sense someone's trying to show her all that's worth sticking around for.

In other Wino news, Amy's up for six Grammys. Also, she's receiving open letters from her mommy ("We are concerned, but we're not panicking"...).

That video was really boring. But I'm totally scared for Amy, I really do see her going the way of Janis Joplin or Kurt Cobain very soon. It breaks my heart, to see such a talented lady slip into darkness.

Lame video for a great song of an splendid singer. They could have done something similar to what Mark Ronson did for his "Valerie" video.

This is a lovely video: it brought tears to my eyes in fact.

She's a hell of a talent that's for sure. But like the guys above, I really worry about her, and the terrible place she's got herself to.

And yes, it does look a bit like a dead artist tribute video. let's hope on hope that it doesn't turn out to be one. Get well soon Amy.

are people still interested in this person?

the only remotely interesting thing about her is the production on her album. which we all know was not her work. she has proven that she cannot sing. it's all just a gimmick. like the pipettes. awful.

Am I interested in the train wreck of a life that is Amy Winehouse? Well, no. But I stand behind that album.

I picked it up late last December, well before the over-exposure and media debauchery began, as I heard good things via the British press. I loved it then, and the only reason I love it a little bit less now is because of its ubiquity and the daily "What's wrong with Amy?" media-watch.

Think what you like of her personally, but it's still a solid, solid album.

This is absolutely disgusting… her manager or whomever is trying to profit off her hardships and drug addiction by creating this video as though she has already died… i can imagine them wanting her to burn out like janis joplin so that they can profit from her downfall. Fuck the music industry seriously

amy is such a wonderful talent. she has the most beautiful voice i've heard in many years. she has got it in her to put all this commercial pop shit in the the toilet where it belongs(christina, brit(ha,ha) mandy) she actually writes songs i like listening to.
