New Antony & The Johnsons (For Prada) - "The Great White Ocean"
Prada commissioned Antony to create a piece of music for uses apparently exclusive to their Fashion Week show on Wednesday night. It's a full song, with the Johnsons, and it's pretty -- guitar picked with a vocal melody recalling I Am A Bird Now's "Spiralling," heady Hegarty bridge of arias and a dab of dissonance. The accompanying James Lima-directed and animated video is just as much a treat, though. Sorry no models were used in the making of this film, but clearly a good deal of thought and execution was.
It's also available at prada.com (click on "Fallen Shadows"), where you can freely download it in QT, iPod, or Prada Phone formats. According to P4K we aren't to expect this on the next record, so grab it while you can.

Are you kidding, the animation was horrible.

Good song as usual from AAJ's, yet really doesn't seem to fit into the speed and logistics and mood of most fashion shows I've witnessed via television.
