New Bertrand Burgalat (Feat. Robert Wyatt) Video - "This Summer Night"
It's been a year since Robert Wyatt teamed up with Monica Vasconcelos to let us know he was going to love you "Just As You Are." Good thing the feeling's mutual, because Wyatt reprises his role as Santa Claus in triplicate (and then some) in the tripped out Daniel Klein-directed video for "This Summer Night," a collaboration with French multi-instrumentalist/composer/producer Bertrand Burgalat. The track's from Burgalat's album Chéri B.B., but it's Wyatt who's often front and center.
Great song.
Chéri B.B. is out (since 2007) via Tricatel. Additionally, there's a "This Summer Night" 12" with the original version backed by Hot Chip's remix of the track forthcoming 10/20 via Domino. You can get more info at Domino.
