New Beyoncé Videos - "Halo" & "Diva"

thumbnail icon: New Beyoncé Videos - "Halo" & "Diva"

It'd be unfair for anyone to expect B-town to repeat the choreographic cross-cultural moment of "Single Ladies" so quickly. So why not take a page from sunglasses mannequin KanYe West's playbook. Venetian shades? Meet Sasha's drapes. Two new clips from Beyoncé's Fierce LP popped this morning: a low contrast vid for the balladic "Halo," which speaks metaphorically about rays of sunshine and lover's auras (and literally on how much Beyoncé enjoys staring into Michael Ealy's purty turquoise eyes), and then the "A Milli"-beats of "Diva," in which we learn of "another name for a hustler" and also what all the sunglasses carts in Chinatown will be selling next week.

"Diva"

"Halo"

I Am Sasha Fierce is out via Columbia.

"UPDATE The vid for "Halo" is down, we'll re-up when it's avail."
But why?

I love you B. You are the one who said "I feel my ass deep in my soul"... That sentence is like a mantra for me now and forever!!! I'm not kidding!!! lol!!!
I think it's great that stereogum write about her and the other mainstream artists, even if they are not doing the same job than Bon Iver for example...But when they try to have an artistic project (ok, this sasha fierce thing is not Pop Art like Kanye lol), I like to see news about it here...

Singles Ladies was great, but it sounded so similar to Get Me Bodied from her last album. Diva straight up steals the beat from "A Mili." It's not even good, either!

Ugh Beyonce? Call me when she isn't obviously swagger jacking someone else.

I like how she is trying to play the "Oooo Gurl!! You so different!!!" Card....

Normally I'd hate on a song that sounds so similar to one that came out so recently. But I like this song despite myself...I was really prepared to hate it. It's sexy and edgy and while it may not be groundbreakingly original, its definitely a strong addition to the Beyonce brand/catalog.

Would those glasses serve any practical purpose other then tickling your nose all day because I doubt they block the sun or are easy to see through.

I know it pains you to actually believe that someone would not like this slop even if it is on a girl talk cd, but it's true. And to add onto that, I don't like girl talk either.

Why do I have to be a hipster?
