New Björk Video - "Wanderlust"

thumbnail icon: New Björk Video - "Wanderlust"

On this most Björk-y of days, Iceland's favorite daughter is also premiering her video for Volta's "Wanderlust." We've mentioned it previously, offering a few stills of the luxurious Isaiah Saxon and Sean Hellfritsch-directed landscape (yes, of Encyclopedia Pictura, the folks behind Grizzly Bear's "Knife"). But now you can actually watch it and its various water buffalo, swirling rivers, and on-the-run gymnastics in live, visually sumptuous action. Grab your popcorn and put your feet up, 'cause it's epic. Just watch out for the waterfall and giant cat.

That's a fucking cool ending.

Umm, just because why not ... HAVE YOU DOWNLOADED THIS YET? You really should.

I wish the song was nearly as interesting as the video.

Bjork is psychic. Not only that, she is ahead of her time... still!

It's sad that people go out of their way to dog real artists, when their is so much crap out there.

Bjork remains at the top.

Volta overall is a very poor album, and the video clips are not as stunning as the older ones.. the video s is nice, but the song is lame.

I don't know about you, but if I dislike someone I don't bother spending time listening to them or watching their videos.

I actually like the song alot. I think that Wanderlust actually stands out more than the other singles that came out from Volta.

In the beginning she sounded a lil like alanis. The video is cool and the song is O.K. I like her 1st CD, however she didn't stray away from her style. I heard this one song from Kissimistry. Cool song off of youtube. She has this short video on there. Check it out.

Bjork sounds the same as she did ten, even fifteen, years ago - it'd be interesting if her voice evolved out of all of her specialized contrivances, but it hasn't. No reason not to dog someone who repeats the same crapola over and over again. Yawn. So over her.
Music video, however, is awesome.

Wow. Björk just keeps getting better. People, stop pretending you don't love her.

I am posting regarding the new Bjork video. We have done shows at the Natural History Museum. We have done shows in the MOCA. We are going to be doing shows at universities, and the MOMA has asked the rights for a permanent exhibition of the video. Meanwhile i am setting up shows for the video at the tate. What you must know is that this video is best seen in 3D Sterographic. It is meant to be projected. So if you want to really experience it get ready for the 3D release. You can see the directors website at:

production done at: http://www.ghostrobot.com/

thank you.
