New Bob Dylan Video - "Thunder On The Mountain"
The Alicia Keys name-checking tune from the man of Modern Times just got the video treatment, with the song set to vintage Bobby D footage. Watch it at Slate, who describe the clip:
... a whirlwind tour of the many phases, and faces, of Bob—from fierce '60s folk-rock tyro to white-makeup-caked troubadour to craggy old bard with a gleam in his eye and a Vincent Price mustache. The video draws on several decades of archival footage, some of it previously unseen. It's a panorama of 40-odd years of American musical history, and—for Dylan freaks—a trainspotter's dream. And if Dylan freak = YOU, get involved with Slate's contest, asking you to ID the year in which the bits of footage were filmed. Winner gets an autographed guitar from the man himself. We hear eBay is a great place for iconic memorabilia these days! Maybe make some loot for your holiday shopping.

That videos is Dylan-tastic, but how the hell do we figure out when some of the photos were taken?
I doubt my public library has that reference book.
