New Crystal Castles Video - "Crimewave (Crystal Castles VS. Health)"

thumbnail icon: New Crystal Castles Video - "Crimewave (Crystal Castles VS. Health)"

Most remix type things should never be downloaded, let alone get a video. But Crystal Castles' slinky, Nintendo bleepy makeover of HEALTH's "Crimewave" -- a standout track from the exceedingly good HEALTH // DISCO remix album -- well, that can get whatever it wants. The clip has a higher Alice Glass visibility factor than did "Courtship Dating" (she's singing through a mesh net) and features a down on his luck zombie, mixed in with footage of Crystal Castles supremely strobed live show.

Have it:

Jesus, this group is AWFUL... can you please not write about them anymore? They just plagarize everything they can get their hands on. All they seem to have is a hot girl, a trust fund, and a good publicist.

Is "Electro-Generic" an official genre now? Because if not it should be. I'm so sick of all these groups that sound the same...I wouldn't mind them doing what they do if they didn't get soooooo much hype and coverage though, that's what is the most irritating thing about it. I think it's cool people make music whatever range that should be but why would this get HYPE over something that actually has a changing melody?

I absolutely love this song. But this video is just stupid. I mean I hate the concept. It's just so dumb.
