New Deerhoof Video - "Chandelier Searchlight"

As the release date of Deerhoof's tenth album approached, the band flooded us with Offend Maggie material. A week and change ago we talked about the fully realized post-sheet music "Fresh Born." Before that Satomi and Greg harmonized about phone calls and unrequited love on "Offend Maggie" and even earlier, the group showed us "The Tears And Music Of Love." Hopefully you still have some room on your plate, because Offend Maggie is out today and, accordingly, here's the Clyde Petersen and Forrest Baum-directed video for "Chandelier Searchlight."

You can close your eyes and forget about the river Styx with this version:

I adore Deerhoof. If I could have it my way, all rock bands would be at least this weird. I can't wait to hear the new album and see yet another incarnation of the band live.

This looks VERY similar to a company called Commoncraft's videos. They did all those videos for Google , PRWEB.. etc.

I wonder if Clyde or Forrest ripped this. hmmmm.
