New Gogol Bordello Video - "Wonderlust King"

Gogol Bordello are now officially everywhere: slaying at festivals, preventing global climate change with Madonna, intoxicated with wanderlust. And they're bringing it home with the "Wonderlust King" vid, Eugene high-stepping his way across Europe, getting the locals to dance, charming the cam. And where do you go after kicking up dust all over the globe? NYC, where else. Bring us your poor, your tired, your huddled gypsy punks, longing to be free. Or at least, longing to pay more in rent than anywhere else in the world.

That's it - silliest video alive. (no thanks to the use of every technique that should've been buried with 80s MTV videos)

oh, what, we're hating gogol bordello now? i missed the memo. i'll try to get a head start on hating justice just so i don't miss the next inevitable hairpin turn between hipsters' love and hatred of the band-du-jour.

I saw this band years ago. I thought they were incredibly lame then, and I think they're incredibly lame now.

People are much better off listening to something like Fanfare Ciocarlia. That's the real deal.

I love Gogol Bordello! I think there new cd shows how they have grown and matured as a band. I love everything they do. I would have loved for there Wonderlust King video to have the whole group but I still enjoyed it. He's silly, it's great. I love it all.

I respect your opinions, but really, how can you not like Gogol Bordello? They're crazy, silly, passionate, colorful...anything but lame.

If you're not totally convinced by Gogol Bordello (or even if you are!), I recommend you check out Manu Chao's new album, "La Radiolina." It's similar in that its wordly and festive - critics like to call it "polyglot".

I don't get it. Why do you guys think this is terrible? I respect people's opinions, but you must be closing yourself off to giving this music a chance. I totally agree with katherine. Is music nowadays just supposed to be about style? Cuz honestly this music digs deep into my soul!

And I have absolutely no connection to the style of music at all! My favorite genre is alternative hip hop! But I gave this genre a chance! DONT F*CKING LAUGH AT THIS, IF YOU COMPARE IT TO BORAT, YOU'RE JUST RACIST
