New Gravenhurst Video - "Trust"
UK's Gravenhurst, a band that won points with us out of the gate with a name taken from a song by master Dave Pajo, is back with some stellar new stuff, from the forthcoming The Western Lands LP. Their last effort Fires In Distant Buildings saw Graven push into a uniformly psychy sound, and the drifting guitars color "Trust" a perfect shade of shoegaze melancholia. "Trust is a hard thing to come by these days" Nick Talbot repeats in sublimely resigned tones, though with songs this good, won't be hard to find folks with faith in the new Gravenhurst.
Listen to the folk-leaning "Song Among The Pine" from Gravenhurst's contribution to the German film Ein Freund Von Mir's soundtrack, and we'll definitely keep you posted on The Western Land.
