New Hot Chip Video - "One Pure Thought" (& Live On Conan)

thumbnail: New Hot Chip Video - "One Pure Thought" (& Live On Conan)

Hot Chip's Made In The Dark clocks in as one of the year's best (bestest?) dance records, and the tropical good time infections of "One Pure Thought" is a strong and awesome anchor for the entire mood-spanning effort. For all the activity, though, this is just the second video from the LP. The more traditionally Hot Chippy "Ready For The Floor" had Alexis Joker-ing around, while this one is goofy in its own way: click on to see the guys rendered pointillistically while making a drum out of Alexis's head and striking colorful, happy poses. But if "Ready For The Floor" is still more your thing, we've got the band's performance of the tune from Conan last night, too, before their set at Music Hall Of Williamsburg. They get around.

From Conan...

Made In The Dark is out via Astralwerks/DFA.

He isn't that small, Conan is a freaking giant. I am just over 6' tall and i saw him in an airport one time... the guy dwarfed me. Not that I am super tall, but I am not super short.

Oo I like the new video, though still not as much as the one for Ready For The Floor. Their Williamsburg show was freaking amazing; I'm still recovering from it, 4 days later.
