New Kelis Feat. Nas Video - "Blindfold Me"

I'm allowed to post hip-hop videos when they're this naughty. Plus, I like Kelis.

Beyoncé fans would never let her get away with this .

Holla indeed. Between this and her "Fuck them Bitches" I'm going to get my little indie white boy self out of the house and buy some Kelis cds.

Really... I love hip-hop but boy am I tired of chicks having nothing better to talk about or show than their crotch. Kelis is actually good with her husky voice and sorta punk rock flava. Too bad all she can talk about is how she likes to screw.

Yeah, yeah you heard this all before I'm sure, but is Jean Grae the only hip-hop chick with something else on her brain other than proving to the male population she's hot?

And before all you white boy indie rockers get on me, I'm a fricking black chick so there.

CA, i agree for the most part. the reason i give Kelis a pass, tho, is that she seems like an empowered sexual female. contrast her with, say Cassie, who makes me worry about her well-being in a world full of big bad wolves. whereas Kelis looks like she'd kick your ass if you made an uninvited pass, Cassie would probably just giggle and hope the guy still likes her after he's done with her.

I used to wear a chain like Nas's but I developed chronic back pain. My chiropractor suggested I switch to a Totally Iced Down Grill instead.

Yeah she's really cutting edge. Love that Pretenders "Brass In Pocket" cover she did. :eyeroll:

True. I do think Kelis is awesome in a way, but I really grow bored of this whole "I'm sexy and y'all know it" theme that so many of her songs have. And the chorus sucks in my opinion, but, yeah. I'm not fond of this video...

And I agree with you, KT, about that comparison.

She's fine and she's pretty and everything, but this song is pretty awful.

She is a black Justin Timberlake, only more manly and more ape-like.

I really like Kelis her style is so me and so raunchy yet classy, but the chorus just takes sum gettin used to...its kinda catchy i guess..the video is hot, but im sorta sick of seein people chained to a chair, i pictures her being a little more domineering but hey if she likes it i love it, u go KELiS and NAS

It's nice. Her albums are always great! Too bad nobody will know that she talks about more than sex.

Kelis is a fresh breath of air. She brings something DIFFERENT to the table. It's time people open their verizons with music, especially hip hop, and imbrace new stuff. If you listen to her music, she's not just screaming, she's really talkin about some deep stuff.....All music is a form of art.

Kelis is the shit . . . just like the intro into the song says- she likes to take chances. Unlike Beyonce who is predictable, unambitious, and safe with EVERYTHING she does. She is the way she is because the one thing she doesn't want to sacrifice is that mainstream appeal ($$$). Kelis is really a breath of fresh air.
