New Killers Video - "Don't Shoot Me Santa"

In what's becoming a charitable tradition, the Killers have released their second Christmas single in as many years. And this time there's a video! In color, in case "Shadowplay" didn't do it for ya. Last annum's gift was "A Great Big Sled," which we'd have called an overblown affair if it weren't, ya know, for charity and all. But this year's present, "Don't Shoot Me Santa" is a little better, a little cuter -- something like The Boss meets Bad Santa, with a dash of Raising Arizona thrown in for good measure. "I saw B. Flow ditching Santa Claus," etc.

You can buy "Don't Shoot Me Santa" at iTunes. Proceeds benefit the (RED) campaign.

When is Brandon Flowers going to get rid of that stupid moustache?

B.Flow ditched Santa while Santa dug a ditch for B.Flow. Strangely reminds me of when Kramer called Jerry, panicked - "just tell me where you are, Kramer" - "I'm at the corner of first and....first....I'm at the nexus of the universe" - maybe it's not supposed to make sense - good holiday cheer.

I didn't think it was possible to make a Xmas song sound and look so fucking un-christmassy. Last year's had exactly the same problem.

Exactly what I DON'T want to hear at Christmas time.

Where is the fucking goddamn comma?

"Don't Shoot Me, Santa"

Fuck.

I'd like to second Balls' post.

If we don't sort out our grammar and punctuation now, when will it ever improve?! We're already on the slippery slope, people. Wake up now! Don't let our grammar go to the dogs, for the sake of future generations!

Id give anything for The Killers to return to their brit-pop neo-nu wave sound. These last couple singles were horrible.

HAAAA! Brilliant post, Shannon.

I like this tune. So it's not very Christmasy... I don't care. Keep the stupid handbells and give me B-Flow's epic histrionic Freddy Mercury vocals on a solid chorus.

I loved it. It was so much better than all the other Christmas BS you hear around this time of year. Also, The Killers last 2 records have rocked. You guys are retarded.

Okay,
I loved somebody told me and mr.brightside, yet i also love their new stuff.
Although it seems like they're a completely different band you know?i like this song aswell.

all you people complaining about wrecking christmas spirit.I'm an atheist and this is gunna be my last christmas because christmas is a lie to get money out of you and most people aren't even religious never mind even stepping inside a church, It's pure greed and the christmas spirit died along time ago.

In case you weren't depresed enough at xmas
