New Kings Of Convenience Video - "Mrs. Cold"
Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe stuck to the letter of the title in "Boat Behind." Expanding things in the F Nemeta-directed clip for the oddly Jack Johnson-esque Declaration Of Dependence track "Mrs. Cold," the duo give us a number of potential "Mrs. Cold"'s. (Though you know it's really just one of them.) To set the stage: The E's are busy strumming their guitars by their lonesome and intoning some gentle KoC folk when a number of women arrive one at a time -- armed with paint brushes and other art-making devices -- to sketch five ways of looking at Kings Of Convenience. I guess this is the sixth?
Declaration Of Dependence is out 10/20 via Virgin.
