New Major Lazer Video - "Pon De Floor"
Tim & Eric's Eric Wareheim continues stockpiling hipster cred by taking a directorial credit on this new Major Lazer video. He brought a bit of an Awesome Show Great Job! sensibility to that clip for MGMT's "The Youth," but this one is more akin to his work on that hardcore-sex-masked-by-cute-animations piece for Flying Lotus. Maybe Eric misread the title as "Porn On De Floor." Or maybe Eric just really loves putting banger beats to people banging. Anyway, great job! Not safe for any workplace which frowns upon acrobatic dancehall dry humping though.
As a bonus, or for those of you who couldn't press play for fear of termination of employment, here's a Switch remix of Major Lazer's "Baby," which is itself very meta since Switch produced the track in the first place with Diplo, but then again we're talking about a couple of producers who just made a great concept album about a "Jamaican commando who lost his arm in the secret Zombie War of 1984" so all bets are off when it comes to meta conceptual mindfuckery. Also, this one features Maya.

Soon we'll probably get a Diplo remix of the Switch remix of that Major Lazer track. If you missed it, the duo's first video was for "Hold The Line" and is considerably less copulatory.

That was just crazy. I have not seen any new episodes from Tim and Eric on Adult Swim. I liked the video- but I though that it was way too long (compaired to their other videos)
