New Man Man Video - "Mister Jung Stuffed"

thumbnail icon: New Man Man Video - "Mister Jung Stuffed"

We've told you how we like Man Man's Rabbit Habits, on the stereo and in the great outdoors. Now we can say we like it in cartoon form, too. The Arthur Jones-drawn video for "Mister Jung Stuffed" opens in the men's bathroom, heads to the bar, and walks past an assorted number of miscreants (sexy nun, guy killed with banana, talking taxidermy, Santa and his hot elf, some dude having a pizza party in his pants, talking hamburger, Mr. T, hippies, the Rockettes), until arriving at the dramatic moment that sends our poor protagonist into the depths of hell where he pilots his little boat on the River Styyx. It's probably safe for work unless your work thinks genital-grabbing cartoons are a bad scene.

Must suck being cuckolded in public by some dude with a mullet and "Mr Jung Stuffed" tattoo. Or, just another day in Williamsburg! Good video, though we miss Honus. And as dirty cartoony videos go, this has shit on Spank Rock.

Rabbit Habits is out via Anti-. And, the guys are out on tour.

Band To Watch: Hospital Ships

As we pass saturation point for press coverage of Montreal, Portland, Brooklyn and et cetera, it seems Lawrence, Kansas is poised for its coming turn in the music media trend piece carousel. At least from what we're hearing; this marks...

Quit Your Day Job: Ungdomskulen

The Bergen trio Ungdomskulen play proggy post punk, mixing chops and hooks with a sense of humor. But they don't sound like Primus. When I was in Norway a couple years ago, "Ungdomskulen" seemed to be on everybody's lips (or...

Premature Evaluation: Beck - Modern Guilt

It's been some time since we learned Modern Guilt, Beck Hansen's eighth album, would be some sort of psych rock minimalist '60s trip with Danger Mouse. Since then, we've gotten a look at the old-school jazz/Blue Note-style cover art and...

Damien Jurado - "Murderer" (Low Cover)
