New Matthew Dear Video - "Don And Sherri"

The tune that made Hummer's ad spots so hummable finally gets its own, entirely more eco-friendly video. Cool production notes, too:

Directors Judy Welfare and Jeremy Hollister capture much of the song's fervent busyness by using a special 5 camera rig splayed out in a semi-circle and attached to the bed of a truck. With Dear literally hanging out over the street, they used mirrors to create a layered effect, similar to the vocals on Don and Sherri, except these shots were achieved for real, in-camera.
From the outstanding, Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle referencing Asa Breed:

Who needs a gas guzzler when you've got a five-camera + mirrored truck bed? Asa Breed is out via Matthew and Sam's Ghostly International label. Also, "Don And Sherri" is being released on an EP by the same name, featuring a cover by Hot Chip, a remix by M.A.N.D.Y., and a DJ Koze (Kompakt) remix of other Asa track "Elementary Lover" (originally performed by Matthew Dear and labelmate Mobius Band). More info on the Don And Sherri EP here.
