New Minus The Bear Video - "Throwin' Shapes"

Minus The Bear's video for "Throwin' Shapes" includes air basketball, dangerously short shorts, and two outsiders drawn together by their completely annoying habits and demeanors.

We were sorta hoping they'd fall off the roof. Here, take the song with you when you go out and terrorize the neighborhood:

That is a pretty great song, but that video is like watching a hipster film student project, armed only with an american apparel gift card and 24 hours to complete. nice vests though.

How unfitting for that song. It's not even funny. Shame, they're a great band. I don't really care about music videos anyways though, there aren't a whole lot of good ones being made now, to my knowledge.

It's nice to see the Bear go funny. Too many artsy fartsy videos out there. I like it. I mean, it's air-basketball. What's not to like? I saw a Band of Horses video that had some chick stealing pillows and then there was a pillow fight. I didn't get that one. This one, I got.

great band. i feel like they have a lot of potential to be much bigger. i think they get grouped in with a lot of bands not half as good as them

This reminded me a lot of Groove Fighters on Channel101.com (only not as funny)

Quit Your Day Job: Megafaun

Raleigh-via-Eau Clair BTW Megafaun debuted impressively earlier this year with Bury The Square. The trio nip-and-tuck experimental tendencies (tape splicing, white noise colliding with banjo, junkyard-laced spring reverb, screeching feedback at the tail end of a quiet back porch lament)...

Horse Feathers - "Father"

Portland songwriter Justin Ringle's evocative vocal twang and sharp lyricism are at the center of Horse Feathers' bedroom Americana. The band's second album House With No Home, which follows 2006's Words Are Dead, finds Ringle's vision fleshed out by multi-instrumentalist/composer...
