Overture was born of Jason Malcolm Brown and Aya Yamasaki Brown in the final days of August, 2004. A focal point where their creative intertwined, Aya and Jason created an opera house where all the peoples of their worlds could perform and be entertained. As the opening to an opera, Overture stands to introduce and describe these worlds through their work, resting mainly in animation and improvised illustration.That's what you get for asking.
Here's something a little more clear: múm are playing the Wordless Music Series in NYC at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle on 11/9 and 11/10. (Also as part of the Wordless Music series, Grizzly Bear is playing their "last show for about a year" at the New York Society For Ethical Culture on 11/3). More info on those shows here.
