New Patrick Wolf Video - "The Magic Position"

Still loving everything about the glammed up decadence of young Wolf's The Magic Position LP, and not at all surprised at this clip's technicolor sets and song-and-dance act. How else could you possibly treat a song so irresistibly camp? Bonus points for the hair and shirt color sync. (via P4K)

the video is kind of blah by the end, there's a comparison between this one and Patrick's "Bluebells" over at obtusity (http://obtusity.blogspot.com), it seems like there's a pattern that connects both videos with the themes of the album.

hate that guy so much. must be one of the most annoying looking people in music. and i fail to see the attraction to his music aswell.

so, really, when the write up for the video is that it is "camp" you're surprised to find him "annoying looking"?

i know next to nothing about mr. wolf..though..did we see him a year ago..perhaps..but i'm guessing he doesn't dress in those costumes everday.

and...i'm all for a bit of exuberant pop..does it remind anyone else of the cure? in their happier moments, of course

yeah I find him extremely annoying and fake. He seems like a cocky smug bitch. Song is annoying.

that was actually more charming than i would have expected.

although i can only deal with patrick wolf in measured doses. otherwise i start contemplating heterosexuality as a viable option, and that's just no good.

i might have liked it better coming from one of those girl-group-revival acts that seem to be everywhere, these days.

He's not fake! I saw him strolling around Dublin yesterday with red hair, glitter everywhere, PatrickWolfClothes and a ukulele strapped to his back!

He supported Arcade Fire last night and was amazing, although I made him fall during his set.. :( hahaha

I disliked this video, it was a bit slow & not a lot happening (well not as much I wished). But loved "Bluebells" video.

it's like the super british indie version of "shiny happy people"

anyone else think this is totally crap? the song doesn't go anywhere, the vocals are terrible, and the lyrically "clever" chorus is an embarrassing joke. the end.
