New Phosphorescent Video - "At Death, A Proclamation"

Pride was a favorite of 2007, as our patented gushing attested to last year. Months later, Matthew Houck presents this, the album's first video, filmed "late one night in the outskirts of London, after a Phosphorescent performance." Houck's sepia-toned and shirtless, beer can in hand, caressing a duck, dancing with a feline-headed lady friend, while marching band drums fill out the gothic elegy. On first watch we thought it wasn't quite what we'd have in mind for the tune's vid, but after typing out that description ... it sounds about right.

Pride is out via Dead Oceans. Pretty killer tour lined up (dates with Bodies Of Water, Bowerbirds, and Bon Iver). Listing after the jump.
