It's a kinda ludicrous song, but the line, "What happened to the dream of a girl president/she's dancing in the video next to 50 cent" is probably one of the most biting pieces of social satire to be sung in a pop song in the last few years, which is profoundly sad.
It's also a canny marketing move, akin to the Avril Lavigne pseudo-rebel pose: all teenagers feel disaffected, and so they'll agree with this song.

Honest truth? I think it's terribly distasteful. I suffer from an Eating Disorder. I'm a compulsive excerciser, but I'm also interested in politics and culture and a lot more than getting some guy to stare at my ass. Hell, half the time I wear baggy clothes bc I'd rather have them not look at me.
I think that all Pink did was make it so that some girl who is bulimic or anorexic or whatnot will now be afraid to tell anyone bc they'll think that people will ridicule them. Yeah, lets praise her for that! Some of the celebrity stuff was funny. But I thought that making fun of people with eating disorders, which are serious mental conditions [more people die of anorexia nervosa each year than any other mental illness] was going a bit too far.
