New Ponytail Video - "Beg Waves"

thumbnail icon: New Ponytail Video - "Beg Waves"

Baltimore sugar addicts Ponytail went the psychedelic green-screened performance route for "Die Allman Bruder." In this clip for fellow Ice Cream Spiritual track "Beg Waves," directors Michael Guidetti and David Berezin offer a similarly frenetic look, but the explosions are set against an ocean-side landscape, the band nowhere in sight. As far as its graphic sense, there are moments reminiscent of current tour mates High Places' new album art, but once we get into the Big Bang and head toward some skeletal 3-D crystal castles and more turbulent (and colorful waters), it's akin to a celestial body being fed Pop Rocks ... while listening to Ponytail.
