New Queens Of The Stone Age Video - "3's & 7's"

More like New Quentin Of The Stone Age Video, really. Shit kicks off in the shit-kicking guitar-squealing rumbler "3's & 7's" clip with a quick cameo from Bulby, but then the action moves into more fitting, Grindhouse territory -- particularly, Tarantino's B-movie/exploitation genre homage Death Proof (see: scantily clad hotties, dusty hot rod chases). In fairness, though, the stripper sequence and Rose McGowan look-alike is pure Rodriguez. No zombies, but some gratuitous, vulgar-is gore put it perfectly in step with the Quentin/Robert double-feature's interstitial coming attraction sequence.

Era Vulgaris is out now via Interscope.

It's about f'n time! This was so clearly the best choice for first single, I don't know why they released "Sick Sick Sick" instead.

Great stuff. I love the Queens, and the grindhouse style of cinema fits them like a glove.

Uh, neither of those movies were derivative of the 60's exploitation B-movies.

Look up Roger Corman will you?

You do you know Russ Meyer is right? You do understand that FAster Pussycat isn't exactly an original name?
