New Raconteurs Video - "Steady As She Goes"

Yes, that's Paul Reubens!

How awesome is this album? On a scale of 9.9 to 10.0?

Raconteurs just don't do it for me really.

5 out if 10. They're ok. Average. But sadly less than the sum of their parts.

Cool video though.

Broken Boy Soldier is 9.2 and definitly the best thing Jack White has gotten his hands on since White Blood Cells.

That was fucking hilarious. Cheesy costumes, soap-box racing (which at points certain of the boys seemed to be taking *very* seriously), and Pee-Wee Fucking Herman?

Go Little Jack!

Where's Muttley? And how's this supposed to make me want to drink Coke? I'm confused.

Album's okay.

*gasp* Are they trying to replace their first video by the great Jim Jarmusch?

Anyways, this video is awesome, love it.

Eh. The new album is 7/10ish. Brendan Benson and Jack White are better off separate.

The Jarmusch video was pretty mediocre, you have to admit.

Speaking as a big White Stripes fan, I think The Raconteurs are a disappointment. I'm sure the live experience will be where they shine. The CD's got too many half-baked songs (to accompany the few good ones). I'm glad Jack's having fun with his chums. . . because I'm not. There's no magic there.

Love the band....but that is a really weak video, even though it was clearly inspired by this one:

It's funny. I'm NOT a White Stripes fan and yet I love this album.

An excellent example of toe-may-toe and toe-mah-toe.

Video is even better when you turn the volume down and play "Gold Lion" to accompany it....

If I ever interview the Raconteurs, I'll be sure to ask Jack what it feels like to be the second-best songwriter in a band!

Folks, if you haven't heard Brendan Benson's "Lapalco," do yourself a favor and pick it up - best record of the 2000's so far.

Uhm, really Jack White: you can quit it with the Michael Jackson/Willy Wonka bob. It's getting a little upsetting.

I don't really like the cover. It reminds me of the photo of that Von Bondies guy after Jack White slapped him around.A bit too violent. And then there's that 20 seconds or so that sound like Foghat.Other than that it's a great album.Nice and short too.I give it a 9.9 for now.I'll save the 10's for really great albums like Lapalco.

These guys are giving rock and roll it's edge back. You guys who buy into this mass marketed pop bullshit see rock as the cliche that It's become and just blindly accept it. Jack white is genious and should apprecited more than fucking beyonce knowles
