New Red Hot Chili Peppers Video - "Hump De Bump"

Sources close to Camp Chili Pepper say that the band mercifully has decided to release "only" five singles from the 28-track double-album Stadium Arcadium (one for each Grammy!) -- so this should be the last of 'em. And it should be the last "official" vid, though we can look forward to a fan-made clip for "Charlie" to help keep the Chili wagon rolling well through '07. Credit Chris Rock for the block-party directorial vision here (shooting craps with the trumpets on ice!). The vid quality is shitty, but good enough to see Keidis's grillz.

It's amazing how bad they've become. How could you write a song as good as "Under The Bridge" and then put this out with a straight face?

this is what they were like from like 1985 through 1992, although those goofy-ass funk-rock songs were better than this one.

god the red hot chili peppers are the fucking bottom of the barrel most uninteresting band i can think of. their music is so bland and annoying. bad white funk is the worst musical genre i can think of. and 'under the bridge' has got to be the single most over-rated song of all time in all of rock. i hate them, i hate them, i hate them.

You know, Flea is always a delight, but artists need to stop writing songs that involve the word "hump." It never becomes something good.

Go to Hell, all of ya. You guys must be a bunch of white boys who can't dance. That is pure Peppers funk like the old days and its great. If you don't like it, don't bother. Go listen to Sufjan Suckins now you pansy asses.

pretty much if you've ever liked a chili peppers song, there's something for you on stadium arcadium.
if you like under the bridge, check out slow cheetah or desecration smile. they're a great band, with what is probably their best album, you guys are just too cool to listen to anything that can sell out a stadium.

How can this be the last of them if it's only the 4th single? I'm counting Dani California, Tell Me Baby, Snow, and Hump de Bump as U.S. singles. Am I missing something?

Bloody sell-outs, and a damn shame since once upon a time they were so f**king good.

Its the same old tireless formula they’ve been abusing for the duration of there career, which once sounded fresh but now echo's the formulaic state of the music industry and it's so called "alternative" music scene, albeit they did take a little break and churn out the wettest pop rock excuse of music with "By The Way" - created by clearly capable intelligent musicians reduced to producing teen loving dollar grabbing bullshit.

“Hump De Bump” - This track has it all - the f**king formula, a ghetto rap video with a cameo from another typical self obsessed with racial indifference American moron, and a title lyric that should belong to another relentlessly predictable RnB/Hip-Hop track America seems to be churning out every 2 seconds

You could see it all going wrong with "Californication" the last album with any actual substance from the RHCP, it had its moments but it had the evidence of the Chilli's inevitable fall to America’s ever growing and expanding waste heap.

Im now going to play "bloodsugarsexmagik" and "one hot minute" and hopefully forget for a minute how the "Red Hot Chilli Peppers" turned into the "Very Mild And Average Standard Mixed Peppers" bought in a multipack from a part of the Wal-Mart corporation along with another "indie" cd pushed by Jo Whiley, which in fact when you read the small print, this lovely independent label you have just bought a record from is probably infact owned by a part of bloody Wal-Mart in the f**king first place.

Nice

I think that you should learn the difference between "there", and "their" ya moron. That pretty much sums up your entire arguement.

I love them.
Their next album will definitely have a flashback of old school rhcp because George Clinton MIGHT produce it!

so just be patient.

i dont know about yall but i think RHCP is one badass band. they single handedly raised alternative music up like their god child. yes under the bridge and californication are overrated songs but those are basicly songs for people who PRETEND to listen to rhcp. do me a favor, go out and by their By The Way album. every single song on it i liked. easily their best album ever.
