New Scissor Sisters Video - "Kiss You Off"

Scissor Sisters enlisted Robert Hales (Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy") to direct this vid from last year's Ta-Dah, and we received the heads-up with so much style-based supplementary info, it would be a waste not to share. Project Runaway aspirants, take note:

  • The video was styled by Zaldy.
  • The video's look was inspired by the mod, futuristic designs of Balenciaga, Mary Quant, Pierre Cardin and Paco Rabbane.
  • Ana Matronic wore a custom couture dress by Liberty of London using their
    beautiful "Ianthe" print.
  • The make up was a collaboraton between Ana Matronic and Chris Colbeck.
  • Wigs by Molly Grayson.
  • Shoes by Terry de Havilland and Dolce + Gabanna.
  • Lucite and plastic jewelry by Cara Croninger.
  • Music inspired by '70s disco pop.

"Music inspired by 70's disco pop"

    Sort of...
But really - this is just Pat Benatar's
"You Better Run" meets Blondie's "Call Me"
    (just styled much more expensively...)

    Things could be worse?

Raleigh-via-Eau Clair BTW Megafaun debuted impressively earlier this year with Bury The Square. The trio nip-and-tuck experimental tendencies (tape splicing, white noise colliding with banjo, junkyard-laced spring reverb, screeching feedback at the tail end of a quiet back porch lament)...
