New Sigur Rós Video - "Inní mér syngur vitleysingur"

thumbnail icon: New Sigur Rós Video - "Inní mér syngur vitleysingur"

Yep you better believe I copied and pasted that song title. Anyone that's seen Sigur Rós this year, or has had access to the internet and a tendency to visit music related websites such as this one, will recognize the Sigur attire in this video as the band's go to uniform (with the exception of drummer Orri Páll Dýrason, who is playing the part of King). This means that the "Inni" vid features 100% more clothing than the last video for a Sigur Rós song. Sorry about that.

Set to live footage, but that is indeed the album version. If watching it convinced you that seeing them is a good idea, have a look at some Sigur Rós's tour dates. Or watch their set from MoMA and be convinced that seeing them is a good idea.

Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust is out now via XL. Have a listen.

I'm surprised they went the performance route on this, since they've had such interesting and epic videos on the past (I still love this video nevertheless). I could be wrong but this is the first time that the band members have been featured in a video, no?

Hmm. "100% more" of "nothing" is still "nothing", this should be an interesting live show.

Nick, you're not alone noticing that. That's what I said when I first heard it.

Phew! I thought for sure that Kernal's Daughter guy would be here again berating us all for like Sigur Ros. Let's hope he missed this post...

I have to agree. I'm slightly obsessed with Sigur Ros but this is a bit... eh. Still it's always nice to see them.
