New Snoop Dogg Video - "My Medicine"

thumbnail icon: New Snoop Dogg Video - "My Medicine"

Snoop's Grand Ole Doggy cowboy song "My Medicine" -- dedicated to "real American gangsta" Johnny Cash -- has a cowboy video co-starring fellow bong-rocker Willie Nelson. Snoop looks alright in a ten gallon hat, but the dopey Everlast-produced (and strummed and sung) Ego Trippen' track doesn't sound much better in visual form. They do keep it pretty authentic, though -- even the Video Vixens are countrified. That said, "Sensual Seduction" was a better game of dress up.

Ego Trippin' is out via Doggystyle/Geffen.

Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg are both really cool guys who make music that I would NEVER listen to. Still, they're entertaining.

For some reason, I like it. It's country as a Mandrell Sister's episode, but pimp as a Ghostface Killah record. I'm not sure it's even legal to combine those two things, but I love it lot more than Jessica Simpson's new country shit. I also enjoy stabbing myself in the eye more than Jess's new country song.
But what is Brad Paisley doing in it? I didn't know he enjoyed rap or Snoop's "medication."

Sounds like a fucking everlast song. Gimmicky bullshit. Snoop should hang it up. Hes a walking parody at this point. Sorry for the hyperbole. I didnt like it one bit. Willie should be embarrased. He wrote RedHeaded Stranger.

Yeah, if you had told 10 producers to combine "Snoop" and "Country," this would have at least been in the top 5.

this song sux so bad I wouldn't pay 2 cents for it it is a disgrace to country music and everyone in this video should be embrassed. I think that snoop and country do not mix and he should get of the weed and listen to the lyrics of this song and how unrealistic it is and how none of it makes any damn sense. I love Wille Nelson but what were you thinking and what were you on? I think that if some one like Naomi Judd another ledgend of Country music and one of the greatest if not the greatest country artists of all time listened to this shit what do you think she would say. I know the same shit she says on the show Can you Duet No No No do not lose your day job. Snoop needs to stick to Rap because country does not work for him.

How can you like this crap you obviously do not have any taste in counrty music that or you are very new to it. Honey let me tell you this ain't country this is some big olde embrassment to country and I wouldn;t raise no hoot or holler about it. I was born country, raised country and am 100% country so I know country music, my grandpapy sany the bluegrass music and played it on a mandellion this is far off from true country blue grass music.
