New Tokyo Police Club Video - "Citizens Of Tomorrow"

"Citizens Of Tomorrow" is Tokyo Police Club's sketch of a dystopian future in which man and machine are at odds, people wear all white and have microchips implanted in their hearts, women are dragged down long hallways while sobbing, and soma is administered by random people while you sleep. Good times! Rather than be perturbed by the precocious post-punkers' dire predictions (coming to a brave new world near you in 2009), we'd rather marvel at the fact that this makes video four from the seven-song A Lesson In Crime EP -- and at the fact that, all these months later, we still love this song.

This band really is great, but, how will they ever top their "Your English Is Good" video? Can't be done, I'm saying it right now.

I am unimpressed. This means they are gonna become some big band that doesnt care about anything but making money. There EP is great but i feel like they have gotten to much hype and now they are going to have a considerable downfall. Or they could go the route of Bloc Party which had a fabulous aclaimed EP and then put out Silent Alarm. I am not jumpin up and down for this LP for fear of dissapointment.

This is a new Video, far from a new song. But it is my favorite Tokyo Police Club song, these guys are amazing. I dig the video, very THX 1138. Can't wait for the new album, but unlike the person above me i hope they keep to the 2-3 minute style. its very unique, it reminds me of the ramones. get in, rock the hell out, then get out. no need for a 7 minute song that drags on. but i would hope the total album length is longer than a lesson in crimes 16 minutes.

I think they might have watched THX 1138 a few times before this was made.

Good song, but the TPC should maybe take a little time out of their busy video-shooting schedule to actually record a proper album.

"truly amazing band" ????
"can't get enough of this band" ????
"most exciting band around" ????

what is this shit?
they're mediocre. catchy, sure. but nothing they've done is amazing in any stretchy sense of the word. the attention they've received completely mystifies me.
