New What Made Milwaukee Famous Video (Feat. Lance Armstrong) - "Sultan"

Even though we've been fans of WMMF's for awhile now, and even though new brash and melodic rocker "Sultan" is pretty great, they never struck us the cocky type. Or the fencing type, really. So okay the track's video casts the Austin boys in an unfamiliar light, parrying and lunging and acting pretty full of themselves. But none of that holds a candle to WMMF's WTF casting of a certain uni-testicled biking champion who once dated Sheryl Crow and who shall remain nameless and who may or may not be named Lance Armstrong. Seriously it's such a good surprise, you guys.

It was totally Lance Armstrong. That's the first video from the band's What Doesn't Kill Us, which is out 3/4 on Barsuk. A track from it, for you, in case you missed it:

Not that big of a surprise as WMMF are managed by the same talent agency (Charles Attal's Orwellian management company CA Presents) that handles (or at least used to) good ol' Lance "You'll Never Work Here Again" Armstrong.

That has got to be one of the worst/lamest videos I've ever seen - and I love fencing.

also Lance is from Austin and so are WMMF, but i didn't want to mention that 'cause that would really give it away!

That was a really good song.

Lance is the man.

Pretty damn funny when "Psy-Klops" missed with the high five.

Lance Armstrong is looking where to go next. He'll probably be after Ryan Seacrest's job(s) soon. Gotta start somewhere...
