New Whigs Video - "Right Hand On My Heart"

On "XR 2" M.I.A. asks "Where were you in '92?" Apparently the Whigs were making home VHS camcorder movies, hanging out with a bunch of rowdies playing croquet, wearing masks, tapping kegs, and jamming through their worthy, Jim James-y new single. M.I.A. would hate that answer.

Same tune they did on Letterman. For your next yard party:

This is a totally sweet video. The VHS concept is really well-executed. I am now officially ready for the weekend. And summer.

Greg Dulli will kick their ass. He fronted the Whigs! not these poseurs. They suck.

I used to always laugh at that line. "Oh, M.I.A., you were like 10 in 1992" I'd think. Then I looked her up on Wikipedia and found out she's 30, so she was 15 in 1992. Who knew?!

Pretty sweet vid. The captain must be jacked, lifting that keg over his head.

Looking at the shakey cam makes me expect the Cloverfield monster to come out at any point and eat the band.
