New Women And Children Video - "Oranges"
Cheryl Serwa's the star of this '60s-vibed vid from Women And Children's Paralyzed Dance Tonight, spending most of its time with a Super 8 camera trained on Cheryl's face and fingers as she glides through the weaving, baroque piano lines at the song's core. Director Michael Grodner gives you a peek at Kevin Lasting during one of Serwa's contemplative scenes, but beyond that it's Cheryl in the woods, on the beach, gazing through a window, probably sorting through the heavy things that inspire the band's offbeat folk. Whatever you make of the tune after one listen, give it three and you'll be hearing it all day.
Paralyzed Dance Tonight is available on Narnack.

I'm surprised to see W&C up on here I have to say. If you really want to check them out, track down a copy of their 2x10" box set, that was amazingly good. The latest album takes a bit of work to get into but like you say for that song, give it a few runs through and you'll begin to really enjoy it.
