New Yelle Video - "Je Veux Te Voir"

Ah, Yelle, the staple of Tecktonika, the one who jumped around and wowed the Knit a few months ago during her U.S. debut. Now the song we posted from that show gets a video. Google translates "Je Veux Te Voir" as "I Want To See You," (which takes on an unexpected meaning when you see Yelle sing it while wearing a clingy smiley-face shirt with eyes in line with the nipples). And hey, it goes both ways Yelle -- we don't think anyone's gonna complain about seeing you, filming this video during your intensely sexy video regimen. We're not exactly sure what sport all of these Yelle calisthenics are meant to train you for, but it looks as though if you replicate the moves at home you may become a better dancer and will definitely be much better in bed.

Also there's a massive banana dancing in the crowd at 3:41.

Good song. We don't have that one for you, but how about a remix of the last one?

Yelle - "A Cause Des Garçons (Booster Remix)" (MP3)

Enjoy.

Yikes. Peretzle Hilton beat you to the punch on this one.

I'm embarrassed for myself.

"and will definitely be much better in bed"

...

And of all things, the song is about someone who sucks at this very thing (= CUIZINIER, the lead rapper of French hip-hop posse TTC).

She's presenting like a mandrill.

The lyrics get even better:
"I want to see you
In a pornographic film
In action with your cock"
and
"Cuizi, that's what?
Your favorite position!
Your performances are Olympic-worthy?
But you've got nothing orgasmic.
You are all nude
Under your apron
Ready to pull it out
But I promise you, it's not going there."

The song seems to be about a guy who thinks he's all that but really is an unattractive douche (cyberghandi knows the rapper at least, I must admit I don't, but it seems that his "favorite position" is named after himself according to Yelle). So it seems that the "I want to see you" is actually said tongue-in-cheek, that's about the last thing she actually wants.

Why did they make a new video for this song? The original video is much, much better. This one is pretty lame in comparison.

Also, they made a new video because they redid the song.

this video appears to be parodying britney spears' 'do something' as well as the 'perfect exceeder' mashup by mason and princess superstar. i feel like other videos are being parodied as well, but they aren't coming to mind right away.
