New Alberta Cross Video - "ATX" (Stereogum Premiere)

thumbnail icon: New Alberta Cross Video - "ATX" (Stereogum Premiere)

When Alberta Cross first got their BTW tag, we tipped the New York-based duo as having a sound that "flipp[ed] between the Band and the White Stripes." That was some years ago and it seems in hindsight the Raconteurs are maybe a closer fit, as apparent on the New York-based duo's anthemic blues-rooted single "ATX" from their forthcoming ATO full-length. If you missed 'em at Bonnaroo and Lolla this past weekend, this video sets the fiery track to live footage for recreation from the comfort of your laptop.

Broken Side Of Time is out 9/21 in the UK and 9/22 on these shores via ATO.

What do you mean by "debut"? It's their second album.

I'm not sure how i missed this post, but i got the link from their myspace. Bands like this are why i love music as much as I do. If you ge ta chance, pick up a copy of their ep off amazon, thats the only place I was able to find it. If this band doesnt explode though when their lp comes out then I'll have lost all faith in humanity. This recording sounds like they over-processed his vocals a little much at times but tytytytyt for the video stereogum.
