New ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead Video - "Isis Unveiled" (Stereogum Premiere)

thumbnail icon: New ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead Video - "Isis Unveiled" (Stereogum Premiere)

Longtime and multi-syllabic Austin sextet Trail Of Dead went about reminding you of their presences via Festival Thyme, the EP where you first got a taste (via alternate takes) of "Inland Sea" and "Bells Of Creation" from the band's sixth album The Century Of Self. Now, just as L.A. quintet Isis prepare to unveil their own collection of swirly post-something epics, the Texans bring us the swirly "Isis Unveiled" in colorfully ominous and multi-patterned video form: Get acquainted with demons from hell, an army of Dead, and Conrad Keely's face.

...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - "Isis Unveiled (Radio Edit)" (MP3)

haha - this video is pretty awful. the record itself is phenomenal, however.

I can't get past this band's pretentiousness. This video doesn't help.

He looks like Vigo from Ghostbusters 2.

This video is awesome!!! Total late-'60s hippie occult style. I love the wikkid wookie towards the end. Freaky!
