New Broken Social Scene - "World Sick" (Live @ NXNE) That "secret" hometown show with Feist which gave us "Forced To Love" has also yielded this vaguely uplifting and sprawling (i.e. Broken Social Scene) track. Good quality video at Singing Lamb.

When the song started I was thinking 'eh, this is okay I guess' but it definitely grew on me with each verse and chorus. Hmmm

Interested to see how the studio version will turn out (with early live versions there's usually no way tell)

Awesome post...video quality is good and I'm really liking the clickity high register guitar parts on that song. Thanks for sharing, SG.

These songs sound great. Reminds me of some of the anthems from You Forgot It In People.

I was lucky enough to be in attendance at The Courthouse on the night of this performance; set the bar incredibly high for the remainder of the NXNE festivities over the next few nights. Great video.

sounds like some comments are coming from some people on the 'ol payroll. shhh or clack, click, clack says the guitar (like modest mouse once did.)

The intro is taken NOTE FOR NOTE from British Sea Power, Lights out for darker skies. Holy crap, I hope that's intentional.
