New Dean & Britta Video - "Words You Used To Say"

Ex-Luna members (and indie pin-up couple) Dean & Britta star in this cute vid for "Words You Used To Say," from their release Back Numbers. The slow resolve; Britta's slinky, smoke-set dancing; and Dean's awesomely realistic driving sequences make it feel like a '70s trip to the movies -- only set to a soundtrack that's bound to age better.

This is a really good record, one of my favorite for the year so far. The stylistic call out to old French pop is right on, Dean even looks like Jacques Dutronc's long lost cryogenically preserved twin brother from the 60s.

The best part is seeing the guy spinning Britta's turntable. Awesome.

I've rarely been that envious of a man turning a lazy susan.

Great video! I had no idea Britta was such a fox. Also, Dean is one the most under appreciated songwriters around, he needs to get his dues.

Also, Britta is JEM. That's the funnest fun fact in indie rock.

Scott, you just blew my mind.

FYI they're on tour right now. Seeing 'em Friday in Boston.

Britta is the voice of JEM? Impossible (with a french accent). Gimme proof.
