New Gwen Stefani Video - "Early Winter"

We recently got a look at Gwen when she was just a girl of 20 (going on 14), but in this video for "Early Winter," a track co-written with Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley, she's all grown up. In fact, maybe a bit too grown up, Ms. Adult Contemporary. As the red (and then white) feathers fall in one room and it snows in another, it's all an excuse for as many costume changes as possible. And, of course, close-ups of Gwen weeping, which she perfected a ways back in her Sweet Escape promo pic and then the "4 In The Morning" video. Toward the end of this one, she catches the subway toward a new life -- "It looks like an early winter for us," etc -- and there's a quick cut to smiling Mr. Keane. So we know Gwen will be okay. Phew, people.

okay I'll admit ive liked a few gwen-solo tracks over the years but overall i wish she would just go back to No Doubt, this song blows, and the video is very lame GAHH tragic kingdom was sweet

Damnit! I want to hate it, but I just can't hate anything she does! I fucking love her... except for "Luxurious" and "Orange County Girl", now that was shit.

I do hate Keane though, hadno idea he worked on this song.

I'm so ready for the No Doubt reunion.

song is just okay, Gwen looks beautiful as always, but can she go away for awhile? For god sake stop. The video was weak.

Boring video, but I have to admit, this is one of my favorite songs on TSE album.

When she's wearing the black turtle neck and it's snowing in the room, it just felt like it was a dandruff shampoo commercial. You may think that was an insult but it's really not. At least if it was a dandruff shampoo commercial I would understand the point of this video.

ok, want to make a quick point to one of the previous comments, Keane is not a person, it's a band, and you can at least acknowledge the quality of their songwriting, especially if you like this. or justify your reasons for disliking them if not.

secondly, that is NOT Tim Rice-Oxley in the video.

not a great video to be honest, but it is a beautiful song.

I'm almost positive that's NOT Tim. He kiiiinda has the hair but otherwise it just doesn't quite look like him.

i AM positive it's not him! he's so shy he barely features in Keane videos, he's not gonna put himself through all that for someone else's!
