New Jay Reatard Video - "It Ain't Gonna Save Me"
Jay Reatard didn't fare too well when Bob, Ann, and Joe made Watch Me Fail puns at the expense of on "It Ain't Gonna Save Me." He also gets his ass handed to him in the explosive Bryce Kass-directed video for the track. Note the clearly intentional visual echo of "See/Saw," which also found Jay being pushed around by a clown bandmate. And I'd be remiss not to mention the passing (top-hatted adult and battling kids similarity) to Serj Tankian's "Empty Walls," minus the ham-fisted anti-war metaphor and ten thousand facial expressions but plus Lamb Of God's "Redneck."
Watch Me Fall is out 8/18 via Matador, where it can be pre-ordered.

"ham fisted anti-war message"?
Serj used those kids in the music video in a message related to the violent world that our state( the world) is pushing. It was tastefull, thoughtfull, heartfelt and genuine.
I dont give a shit out this song, this video is funny and cute, but the song is lyrical garbage i've heard a thousand times before.
Save me
save me
save me..
Save me from what?
