The current version posted on this site was released to television by Warner Brothers without the band's consent. Further rumor suggests Warner Brothers was unhappy with the amount of time the MCR camp was taking approving a final edit. A real release of the final version is due in about a month.

I'm still trying to figure out why there are so many MCR haters. I'm not a big fan of their older stuff (with a few exceptions) but I have to admit....this album is actually quite good. They have good musicianship, lyrics and vocals, which earns a thumbs up in my book. So what if they sound like a modern Ziggy Stardust/Beatles/Queen conglomeration? I'd welcome more bands that try to break out of today's molds. You know....like the majority of shitty, cookie-cutter emo bands that all of you love to rave and post blogs about.

Well I have something to say to all you people out there hating MCR and actually bothering to write it in a forum thingy. I only got into MCR this year after I heard Welcome To The Black Parade, and now they're one of my three favourite bands. Their music is so good and all their songs don't sound exactly the same. I bought The Black Parade as soon as I could and now every single song on the album is one of my favourites. I never knew they sang I'm Not Okay before and I've loved since I first heard it. They are the best band in the world and who cares if they're emo cos their songs are awsome and Gerard and Mikey Way are the hottest guys on the planet. And Frank Iero's pretty hot too. Eh, their new stuff isn't half bad. What impresses me a bit more than their shift in style, although that was appreciated, was The Black Parade's coherence as an album. By that, I mean that the songs sound better, and have a different effect when played as an album, and not just a group of songs. As convenient as it is, I have a strong distaste for iTunes, simply because it discourages bands from using the album format, which, like forms in poetry(like the sonnet, the villanelle, and others), can be used creatively to add to the overall effect.
