New Oasis Video - "I'm Outta Time"

thumbnail icon: New Oasis Video - "I'm Outta Time"

Following up on the eye-popping, Hot Rocks-y psychedelics of "The Shock Of The Lightning"'s video, Oasis dig into their Soul to procure another conceptual clip, this time for the John Lennon spoken-word sampling "I'm Outta Time." Liam takes sole writing credit on the symphonic and self-doubting downer, so he's the only Gallagher we see, strolling through a colorless English country side with the surreality of a scene out of Big Fish.

Dig Out Your Soul is out via Big Brother/Warner. In related news, Alan McGee will no longer manage your band.

He's not a very inspired lip-syncher.

This is actually really good. I'm surprised!

That said, I really like to imagine Liam is this detached and morose in the studio when they originally recorded this song. I like to imagine the whole band just sort of shuffling around the studio like zombies, barely moving their lips, lethargically playing their instruments, yet somehow sounding good.
